Walking Around Nubra Valley I

Olá olá, os meus últimos dias foram passados por Nubra Valley, um vale rodeado de montes que fica em Ladakh, deixei Leh, capital de Ladakh de taxi partilhado juntamente com um casal de polacos, pai e filho checos e um rapaz dinamarquês, foi uma jornada de duas noites e três dias até voltar a Leh, estradas de cortar a respiração mas com paisagens lindas sempre com pequenas vilas pelo meio. Um mês depois deter chegado a Leh, está na hora de mudar de localidade embora fique muito por fazer pelo norte da Índia, é uma boa desculpa para voltar, amanhã estou de volta a Delhi, mais um percurso entre mini autocarro e autocarro de dois a três dias.

Hello hello, my last days were spent in Nubra Valley, one valley surrounded by hills in Ladakh, i left Leh capital of Ladakh shared a taxi with a polish couple, father and son from Czechs and a Danish guy, it was a journey of two days and three nights before return to Leh, breathtaking roads but always with amazing landscape with small villages. A month after i arrived in Leh it's time to change location although it's much to be done here in northern India, it's a good excuse to come back some day. Tomorrow i'm back to Delhi, another two to three days journey by bus and mini-bus. 

Walking Around Ladakh IV (Birthday)

Esta foi a paisagem do último dia do trek, o tempo estava bom, a água era entre o azul e o transparente, só apetecia mesmo nadar mas o nosso guia disse que não se pode nadar porque nos últimos anos todas as aldeias próximas vinham lavar roupa, carros, motas etc. aqui e poluíram as águas, ao olhar, pela cor da água não parecia, mas estando na Índia acredito perfeitamente. Sem dúvida é um local perfeito para estar, ou neste caso, quase perfeito...

This was the view the last day of the trekking, the water was between blue and transparent, just felt like want swim, but our guide said you can't swim because in recent years all the nearby villages came washing cars, bikes, clothes, etc. here and polluted the water, looking for the color the water didn't look, but being in India i believe perfectly. No doubt it's a perfect place to be, or in this case, almost perfect...

Walking Around 5 Months

Faz hoje 5 meses que comecei esta viagem, 5 meses de pessoas novas, pessoas brutais, 5 meses de locais novos, locais brutais,  5 meses de muitos bons momentos e sentimentos, 5 meses de alguns maus momentos, 5 meses a partilhar, a aprender, 5 meses a viver... e muito, muito mais...

I started this trip five months ago, five months of new people, amazing people, five months of new places, amazing places, five months with so many good things and feelings, five months with some bad things, five months sharing, learning, five months leaving... and much, much more...

Alguns dias com alguma chuva, outros com sol, alguns dias com algum calor durante o dia, outros nem por isso, o terceiro dia do trek estava assim...

Walking Around Kalachacra 2014

Decorre na cidade de Leh, local em que estou desde 23 de Junho uma cerimónia Budista de nome Kalachacra, é uma cerimónia em que o Dalai Lama dá ensinamentos e onde é possível obter a iniciação ao Budismo, este evento é comparado a Fátima ou ao Vaticano, estas duas semanas Leh é a capital da Índia e não só, viajantes de todo o mundo, Budistas e não Budistas não querem perder a oportunidade de saber um pouco mais sobre o tema...

As palavras de Dalai Lama que ficaram na minha memória hoje: "Mais importante do que qualquer religião é o respeito e ajudar as pessoas, caso não seja possível ajudar, pelo menos não magoar"

Around Leh, place where i'm since 23 June a Buddhist ceremony the name Kalachacra, it's a ceremony where Dalai Lama gives teachings and where you can get initiation to Buddhism. This two weeks Leh is capital oh India, thousands of indians and travelers from all the world Buddhists and not, don't want lose the opportunity to now more about Buddhism...

The words of Dalai Lama who remained in my memory today: "More important than any religion is respect and help people, if you can't help, at least don't hurt them" 

Walking Around Ladakh II

Esta é a paisagem onde acampamos a segunda noite, sempre junto a um riacho para usar a água para cozinhar e beber. Entre as 8 e as 9 da noite ficava completamente de noite e era altura de ir para a tenda dormir, bastante frio de noite e ás 6 da manhã o nosso cozinheiro fazia de galo com o chá :)

This is the landscape where we camped the second night, always near a stream to use the water for cooking and drinking. Between 8 and 9 pm get completely dark and was time to go sleep, really cold at night and at 6am our cook wake up us with tea :)

Walking Around Ladakh I

Olá Olá,

cheguei ontem do trekking pelos Himalayas, foram 8 dias e 7 noites entre Rumste e Tso Moriri. Estou todo partido mas foi muito bom, 7 noites a acampar em que não dormi mais de 4 horas por noite, andar em média 6 horas por dia, chegamos a uma altitude máxima de 5600m mas o normal foi andar entre os 4800m. As paisagens eram sempre brutais, com e sem neve, com e sem sol, sempre com frio. Fica aqui uma fotografia do primeiro dia, o nosso acampamento.

Hello hello,

i already arrive from my trek around Himalayas, were 8 days and 7 nights between Rumste and Tso Moriri. I have my body broken but was really good, 7 nights camping were i didn't sleep more than 4 hours each night, walking around 6 hours each day, we reached a maximum altitude of 5600 m but the normal was walking around 4600m. The landscape were always amazing, with and without snow, with and without sun but always with cold. Here it's a image about first day, our camp.
