Walking Around Nepal With Love

Não bastava já todas as guerras criadas pelo homem devido à sua ganância e cegueira mas também a natureza decidiu mostrar mais uma vez quem manda aqui e mais uma vez o fez da pior maneira possível. 

Nestes dias não paro de pensar sobre as experiências maravilhosas que tive no Nepal, desde o voluntariado para crianças lindas, desde viagens de autocarro onde este ia tão cheio que tinha pessoas a dormir no meu colo, desde perder o autocarro e um local agarrar na mota e viajar por quase meia hora até conseguir chegar ao autocarro, desde estar no meio das montanhas e as pessoas oferecerem água e comida que só para eles já era pouca, desde receber sorrisos e mais sorrisos, etc., etc., etc., isto tudo e muito mais, muito, muito mais… Sorrio ao pensar nisto mas logo depois vem o sentimento de impotência.

Desejava estar lá agora.

I thought was enough all the war created by human because of his greed and blindness but  the nature decided to show us once again who is the boss and once again made it the worst way.

These days I keep thinking about the amazing experiences I've had in Nepal, from volunteering with beautiful children, from bus trips where it was so full that the people had to sleep on my lap, from losing the bus and a local grab his motorbike and travel almost half an hour until reach the bus, since be in the mountains and people offer me food and water who was not enough even just for them, since received smiles and more smiles all the time, etc., etc., etc., all this and more, much, much more… I smile thinking about it but then comes the feeling of impotence. 

I wanted to be there right now.

Olá pessoal, sei que tenho dado poucas notícias mas a verdade é que para já continuo por Perth sem fazer muito, estou a estudar a possibilidade de tirar um curso de Inglês aqui mas ainda nada é certo, para a semana tenho de resolver o meu futuro ou fico a estudar aqui por uns meses ou sigo viagem para outro lado.

Hi guys, i didn't say so much about my travel these last days because I don't have anything new to say, still in Perth, I'm thinking about to stay here some months learning english but I'm not sure, next week I will know if i stay for some months or if i leave to other country.

Não tenho dado muitas novidades desde que cheguei na Austrália, tenho andado sempre pela costa Oeste pela casa de amigos, para ser sincero estou a ver se fico por aqui uns meses para melhorar o meu inglês mas ainda nada está decidido a 100%, a vida na Austrália é muito, muito cara para mim. Também não tenho fotografado muito porque a minha máquina anda a fazer greve, nas últimas semanas mais de 70% das fotografias que tirei saíram pretas, só boas notícias :)

Since I arrived in Australia I have always been around the West Coast at the friends house, to be honest  I'm looking to stay here a few months to improve my English but still not sure yet, life in Australia it's very, very, very expensive for me. I also didn't take so much pictures here, my camera is doing strike in recent weeks over 70% the pictures i took come out black, just good news :)

Diz que hoje é o dia da mulher pelo menos é o que li/vi pela net, tinha ideia que o dia da mulher, do homem, dos animais era todos os dias, tinha ideia que devemos tratar todas as pessoas com respeito todos os dias sem olhar a género, cor, religião, orientação sexual, tinha que devemos partilhar, ajudar, dar sempre que possível e não simplesmente num dia que é intitulado como o dia de algo.

Mas já que é o dia da mulher nunca é de mais referir que sou a pessoa mais sortuda do mundo por ter as melhores e mais bonitas mulheres do mundo na minha vida, Mãe, Mana, Avó, Tias, Madrinha, Primas, Amigas…

Looks like today is the woman's day, at least that's what I read/saw on the internet, I thought the woman's days, men's day, animal's day was every day, I thought that we should treat everyone with respect every day without regard to gender, color, religion, sexual orientation, I thought that we should share, help, give whenever possible and not just once a year when is titled as day of something.

But never hurts to say that I'm the luckiest person in the world to have the best and most beautiful women in the world in my life, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Aunts, Godmother, Cousins, Friends...

Olá olá, continuo por Perth mas sem muito para contar, gosto bastante da cidade apesar de não ter muitos motivos de interesse para fotografar, amanhã vou para sul até Margaret River um dos locais mais turísticos deste estado da Austrália, uma zona bastante conhecida pelas boas ondas, praias e vinhos.

Esta fotografia foi tirada numa visita a norte com o meu amigo Jonathan ao deserto Pinnacles.

Heello hello, in Perth but with not much to tell, i really like the city even doesn't have so many things to shooting, tomorrow I'm going south to Margaret River, one of the most tourist sites in WA with waves, beaches and wine.

Olá olá, estou em Perth, a capital do estado de Oeste Austrália, estou na casa de um rapaz Australiano, a praia mais próxima fica a não mais de vinte minutos de carro, na quinta feira fomos lá e deu para apanhar um escaldão, ontem fomos visitar uma baia e um deserto que fica a três horas de carro para norte, Jurien Bay é o nome desta baia.

Hello hello, i'm in Perth, the capital of Western Australia, i'm in the house of an Australian guy, the nearest beach it's not more than twenty minutes by car, on thursday we went there and i catch a sunburn, yesterday we went to visit a bay and a desert, was three hours driving north, Jurien is the name of this bay.

Depois de uma semana em Dunsborough na casa de uma família brutal de um amigo de um amigo meu é tempo de voltar para Perth por uns dias para tratar de assuntos pessoais, os próximos dias vão ser decisivos para saber por quanto tempo vou ficar pela Austrália, desejem-me boa sorte :)

After a week in Dunsborough at the home of a amazing family of a friend of a friend of mine is time to go back to Perth for a few days to do personal issues, the next few days will be decisive to know how long i will stay in Australia, wish me luck :)

Parece que está na hora de sair da China, ficou mesmo muito por ver e fazer aqui isso significa que no futuro em uma outra viagem vou ter de voltar aqui e não me parece nada má ideia, mas como sobre o futuro não sei nada o que posso dizer é que em princípio amanhã já não vou estar pela China :)

Looks like it's time do get out of China, i didn't see so much as i want, it means that in the future on another journey i will have to come back here and i think it's not bad idea, but i don't know nothing about the future, the only thing i know right know is tomorrow i will not be in China if nothing wrong happens :)

Depois de ter estado quase um mês na casa de amigos e de ter feito couchsurfing mudei-me agora para um hostel mesmo ao pé da maior parte de "Hutong" da cidade, ou seja estes próximos dias vou explorar todos os cantos e cantinhos aqui da zona.

After having been almost a month at a friends house and have done couch surfing i moved today to a hostel next to the biggest part of "Hutong" in Beijing, so these next few days i will explore all the nooks and corners of the area.

Sem dúvida alguma que descobri o meu amor em Pequim, tem o nome de "Hutong" :)

"Hutong" são as tradicionais ruas chinesas que parecem labirintos, as ruas são estreitas e em cada porta existe um caminho ainda mais estreito com várias casas lá dentro, estas casas não têm casa de banho assim pela parte principal das "Hutong" existem dezenas de casas de banho públicas, a cidade está renovada e já não existem muitas por aqui mas felizmente hoje encontrei uma parte que permanece quase intocável e é brutal andar por lá, pena é o frio, de vinte em vinte minutos tinha de entrar dentro de uma loja para tentar aquecer…

I already found my love in Beijing, is called "Hutong" :)

"Hutong" are the traditional Chinese streets that seem mazes, the streets are narrow and on every door there is an even narrower path with several houses there, these houses don't have bathrooms so the main part of the "Hutong" have a lot of public toilets, the city is renewed and unfortunately here are not so many "Hutong" already but fortunately i found part that remains almost untouched and is amazing walk there, the worse was the cold, every twenty minutes i had to go inside a store try get warm…

O que mais gosto de Pequim são as Hutong, tradicionais ruas chinesas que parecem labirintos, aqui a vida avança a um ritmo mais lento do que na nova e renovada Pequim. Por todo o lado jogam ao tradicional jogo de tabuleiro Xiangqi.

In Beijing what i like most are the Hutong, the traditional Chinese streets that seem mazes, here lives moves at slower pace than in the new and renewed Beijing. Everywhere they play Xiangqi the traditional board game.

Hoje andei duas ou três horas por um parque aqui em Pequim.

Today i walked two or three hours around a park here in Beijing.

Hoje andei ás voltas pelas zonas turísticas, perto da cidade proibida conheci três chineses que meteram conversa comigo, um deles tinha 4 vezes o meu tamanho, falamos sobre tudo e mais alguma coisa, eles disseram que eram de Shangai, que estavam ali em trabalho "IT" e que iam ficar por cinco dias, mal disse que era de Portugal um disse: 

 - "O chefe já lá esteve duas vezes."

O chefe era um dos três que estavam comigo e rapidamente começou a falar.

- "Já estive em Lisboa, adoro futebol e adoro o Benfica, também estive em Espanha."

Continuamos a falar mais ou menos meia hora até que um deles pergunta:

- "Gostas de cerveja?"

- "Não, não gosto cerveja." Respondi eu.

- "E de café?" Volta a perguntar.

- "Também não." Digo eu a rir e prossigo: 

- "Só de chá, adoro chá."

- "Ah sim, nós vamos parar para beber algo, queres ir ali connosco?" Perguntou mais uma vez.

E assim foi, sempre em conversa paramos num café meio escondido e entramos em uma sala ainda mais escondida em que foi lá alguém perguntar o que queríamos. Pediram dois bules de chá e juntos vieram umas bolachas. 

Depois de vir o chá começaram a fazer várias perguntas sobre dinheiro, se ganhava muito, se tinha muito dinheiro, até chegaram ao ponto de me pedir o cartão de crédito, disseram que queriam ver porque nunca tinham visto um visa, eu disse que não tinha, já estava a ver que ia ser tramado (A Danni já me tinha dito que existiam estes esquemas de convidar turistas para beber chá e depois faziam eles pagar a conta, sempre um valor altíssimo, mas na altura ela tinha dito que eram miúdas que convidavam). Depois de o chá chegar quando eles começaram a falar de dinheiro vi que ia se passar isso comigo, não estava aberto a pagar muito mas fiz-me sempre de desentendido porque reza a história que se não pagares eles fazem-te umas festinhas, estando eu ali sozinho sem saber onde fiquei na minha. 

Pediram a conta ainda com um dos bules cheios, a conta eram 780 Yuan que é +/- 115€ disseram que tinha-mos de dividir pelos quatro o que dava 195 Yan cada ou seja 30 €, mas na altura de pagar só paguei eu e outro deles para fingir que eles também estavam a pagar, depois disso fui-me embora e eles ficaram. Ou seja paguei 30€ por dois bules de chá, só bebo chá do bom, escusam de me convidar para beber um chazito de um euro :p

Today i walked to the tourist areas, near the forbidden city i meet three chinese guys, they began talk to me, one of them had 4 times my size, we talk about everything and anything, they said they were from Shanghai and they are here in Beijing for four days in business "IT". After i said i'm from Portugal one of them said:

- "The boss already been there two times."

The boss was one of this three guys who were with me and quickly started talking.

- "I've been to Lisbon, i love football and Benfica it's my team, also been to Spain."

We continue to talk about a half an hour until one of them asks:

- "Do you like beer?"

- "No, i don't." I replied.

- "And coffe?"

- "No, i don't" I say laughing and proceeded:

- "Only tea, love tea."

- "Oh yeah, we will stop for a drink, you want to go there with us?" He ask me.

So, after walk a little bit more we stopped in a hidden coffee and entered in a even more hidden room where there was someone ask what we wanted. They asked to teapots and come together some cookies. 

After comes the tea they began to ask several things about money, if i have a lot, if i get a lot, even asked me to see my credit card because they never seen a visa, they said. I said i don't have. I was already seeing i will be plotted. ( My friend Danni some days ago told me that there were these schemes to invite tourists to drink tea and then to pay the bill , always a very high value, but at that time she had said who was woman's inviting). After the tea arrived and they start talk about money i saw the think Danni said will happen with me, was not open to pay a lot but i was always dumb because the story said: "if you don't pay they will make you pay in a less friendly way", while i was there alone whiteout knowing well where, i tough maybe it's better pay.

Even when more than one teapot full they ask the bill, 780 Yuan, more or less 115€, they said we will split for four and ask me for 195 Yuan, 30€ but just i and one more guy paid but sure just to pretend that they also were paying, after that i leave and they stayed drinking the tea and for sure laughing at me. Please don't invite me anymore to drink cheap tea, from now i just drink good(expensive) tea :p
